We provide creative kits for disadvantaged pupils across the UK.
The Make Bank supports students wishing to study art and design from the age of 13. We don’t believe that a pupil should curb their creativity just because they don’t have access to the tools they need.
We’ve worked with amazing schools across the country to devise and create art and design kits which meet the needs of all young people following the National Curriculum in Scotland, England, Ireland and Wales. And we’ve filled our kits with great quality materials that will enable and inspire the pupils that use them.
Our kits support pupils studying GCSE, A Level, National 5, Higher and Advanced Higher qualifications and we have created five subject-specific kits which cover art, design, photography, textiles and ceramics. We also provide portfolio cases for some students applying to art courses at university. Our basic kit list includes high quality materials like drawing and colouring pencils, paints, rubber, sharpener, glue, and pastels.
Pupils can apply for a Make Bank kit in partnership with their teacher and we will send each kit directly to their school. If you are interested in applying for a kit or have any questions please let us know.
